Abstract
The Fort Worth Basin of north-central Texas is a prolific petroleum basin that is increasingly seismically active, with over 125 earthquakes of magnitude Mw ≥2.5 since 2006, impacting the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area and surrounding communities.

Abstract
Deepwater slope deposits in the Virgilian- Wolfcampian Cisco Group in Lake Trammel South field in Nolan County, Texas, have produced oil and gas since the early 1950’s. Nevertheless, the field and adjacent areas have the potential for additional development.
