About This Publication
Six interlocking regional stratigraphic cross sections illustrate the vertical and lateral extent of lithostratigraphic units and distribution of facies and facies tracts. The accompanying text presents previously unpublished data on the Fredericksburg-Washita Formations of the Comanche Series from the Edwards and Stockton Plateaus and Marathon Rim region of West Texas. It also integrates these data with published and unpublished (thesis) data from the study area and adjacent regions and provides a regional stratigraphic framework and synthesis of the depositional history of this division of the Lower Cretaceous in West Texas.
